1) Meadow Hot Springs 
     – This one was my favorite by far, that is until it ended up on the internet… Now it isn’t as nice as it was and there are people there nonstop. It is always one of our stops when road tripping though. Last time we went it was a spontaneous road trip at 12:00am and we ended up getting there at 3:00am. We spent the night at one of the properties that my boyfriend’s family has in Richfield, Utah and then drove back that afternoon. We of course took Millie (our, at the time, 13 week old puppy) and put her on a long line leash by the springs while we swam around for a few hours. There were people just leaving when we got there (I am not kidding when I say people are there nonstop now) they let us keep their fire going and glow sticks they had left over to swim around with. We have been to Meadow Hot Springs at least 5 different times, if not more. I recommend going at night rather than the daytime, since people and their whole families take day trips there and camp out.

2) Paradise Valley, Nevada 
     – This one is literally in the middle of no where. There wasn’t a soul for miles (which I love!). There are two different “tubs,” which are cattle troughs. There is a little stream that has been rigged up to flow into a hose that you can control and pick which tub you want to sit in. Also, if it gets too hot you can take the hose out and let it cool down before putting it back in. When we went, it looked like there were brand new tubs. So you know it is taken care of. 

3) Gandy Hot Spring 
     – Ok, this is more of a “warming springs,” but it is super cool! There is a cave inside the rock that in amazing. There were a couple other people there, but it wasn’t busy at all. (Side note: this is where Millie learned to swim. It was her first hot springs trip, and she LOVED it)

4) Ruby Valley 
     – This one there wasn’t anyone around for miles as well. Although, there was a truck that ended up driving by (a local couple that drove there just because they could). They ended up getting their truck stuck in the mud pretty bad. We have gotten my Jeep stuck a few times and finally got to return the favor to all of those that helped us out. After our soak in the hot springs, they came up and asked for help.

5) Crystal Hot Spring
     -This is a more popular hot springs. It is one you must pay to get in. It is more of a park. There is an RV park right by it so you can stay a while. There are water slides, lounging chairs and a club house with vending machines. It is kind of like your local rec. center pool.

6) Lava Hot Spring
     – This one is also a more popular hot springs. We mostly tube the river when we go, rather than chill in the hot springs them selves. It is a fun little get away. Hotels everywhere, stores/shops and more. Everything is in walking distance.  

7)  Midway Creator
     – This is one you have to pay and schedule a time to go. The first time we went we used Groupon to get a discount. It is mostly just a soaking tub. It looks cool when you go in, since it is inside a creator. You have to wear a lifejacket the whole time you are in the water (and I hate lifejackets…) But if you do go, I suggest bringing your own lifejacket so that you know it will fit comfortably.

8) 12 Mile Hot Spring 
    – We went to this one and camped out right in the area of the springs with some friends. There is a cool-ish river that you can lay in right out side the springs if you get too hot so that you can cool down. It was nice, that is until 2:00am – 5:00 am. There were people coming and partying nonstop. Loud and rowdy drunk people aren’t my cup of tea when they are partying for three hours straight. Other than that, it is a pretty good hot spring.

9) Little Jamaica 
    – This one is crowded, and I mean CROWDED, every time we go. It is a little spot in St George with different pools to soak in and a big river. It is very family friendly. Everyone there is with what seems like extended family and their dogs. If you do end up finding a place to sit or some people to chill with then it is nice to hangout and swim around.

10) Baker Hot Spring 
     – Ok, so this one we didn’t get to actually get in. We drove up and there was a nudist group camping out there. I am talking old people, nude as could be and lots of them.  It would have been a cool hot springs and I do recommend going, I know we will be back to actually try it out sometime. It must be good if people camp there with their trailers and all.
